  Bad service, unreasonable and rude... Ray (the owner) was very difficult to deal with. Not worth the headache for cheap accommodation.

  Cedar lodge was fantastic. We had a group of 16 on a mountain bike trip. The lodge had room for our 22 seater bus and 20 bike trailer in the parking area. Ray and Carol were easy to deal with. The lodge had eveything you need including bed linen, wood for the fireplace, internal heating, a great kitchen for cooking with our group. And local shops, cafes and restaurants/pub just down the road. Perfect location to access bright, mt beauty and beyond.

  If you read all the Airbnb Reviews on Cedar Lodge Mt Beauty you will see that the only 2 dissatisfied clients on this website were from the 2 clients who had deliberately broken the Cedar Lodge House Rules. We have dozens of happy returning clients each year. That is why we are totally booked out until the end of the Ski Season!! We have just spent over $6000 up grading heating and air conditioning in Cedar Lodge Mt Beauty. The previous bad review was written by a client who showed up with 5 people over our limit of precisely up to 16 guests. They entered a restricted area and dragged all the bedding into the lounge room so their extra unpaid for guests could stay in the lodge.

  The lodge does not have enough hot water for a big group, half of our group had to take cold showers. We even wash dishes in cold water, but that didn't help. To save money owner only heat up water during off peak hours.

  Too bad. Hot water not enough for over 5 people. There r notices posted everywhere in the house. No heating in the rooms, and windows are not properly sealed. I went with the kids and had to sleep in living area as rooms were extremely cold. Blankets were worn off and pillows were cover less dirty. Owner is not easy to deal with. Can be privcy issue as he lives behind the lodge. You can expect owner demanding money after you leave giving extremely lame reason. Highly Unrecommended.
